Miscellaneous problem-solver
To me, design is a thoughtful process intended to realize a more harmonious state. I see myself as a problem solver more than anything else. Some problems are aesthetic in nature, some technical, some behavioral, yet others are environmental or material.
My life as a problem-solving designer/engineer/entrepreneur began very early having been weened on hydraulic oil and teethed on welding rods in my parent's bootstrapped heavy equipment manufacturing facility. We made 10-ton hydraulic paper-baling presses, among other beasts.
This is where I get to throw a range of projects that demonstrate a broader creative capability, solving problems across a wide variety of markets, personas, industries and technologies.
